Guests have always been welcome in our house. The history of tourism began in 1962. At that time, the tourist association provided loans for the renovation of houses for tourist purposes and our grandmother Štefka undertook to arrange 5 double rooms. There was hot and cold water in each room, which was very advanced for those times. Guests from all over the world and Slovenia became family friends, they usually stayed for 2-3 weeks and kept coming back from year to year.
Our house has always been full of life, music, folklore, beekeeping, sewing and other customs. Guests were happy to help with farm chores, mowing, raking and enjoyed all the outdoor adventures. Special ties woven with PEOPLE still caress our souls today. With the presence and interest of the descendants of former guests, we are stepping into the future with a full measure of optimism and tradition. The choice of the name TOURISM PR’OBJAN was easy, as we proudly used the family house name Pr’Objan.
